Free vector art illustration of the famous Velvet Underground album cover, designed by the iconic pop art legend Andy Warhol. This signature banana vector artwork is a tribute to one of the world’s most influential underground bands in the history of rock and roll. Velvet Underground’s debut album contains the history of almost all alternative music in 11 tracks. Peel slowly and see!
The album cover of the first Velvet Underground is legendary for the yellow banana design by the Pope of Pop, Andy Warhol. Fuelled by John Cale's haunting violin and Moe Tucker’s powerful drumming, Lou Reed’s magic lyrics and vocals about drug deals and vicious love inspired future rock giants as Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, REM, Pixies and Sonic Youth. The German black angel, Warhol protégé Nico, a top model and chanteuse sang some of the prettiest tunes. The album was far ahead of the times and includes rock classics such as ‘Heroin’, ‘Sunday Morning’, ‘Venus in Furs’, 'All Tomorrow's Parties' and ‘I’m Waiting for the Man’.
